teaching

“Everything I learn, everything I discover — if I like it and it moves me, then I choose to share it with you, so it can enchant and enrich you too.”

Daniel Pennac

Like Pennac, I believe that those who teach should be passeurs: not gatekeepers of a temple, but those who pass on, transmit, and share what intrigues them, fascinates them, and ignites their passion.

Percepire, tracciare, ricordare

Perceiving, Tracing, Remembering

Signage and wayfinding

At Palazzo San Biagio, we explore how signs, sounds, surfaces and memories can shape our experience of a space. An invitation to perceive what orients us, to draw paths that speak to the senses to recognise - through details - the identity of a place. Finding our way also means shaping what helps us not to get lost and discovering our own way of experiencing the environment that surrounds us.

The Game. Il ruolo di Emergency

The Game. The Role of Emergency

The exhibition, entitled "The Game. The Role of Emergency", presents a series of board games on the theme of migration related to climate change and wars, developed in collaboration with Emergency. “The Game” is the ironic slang term many migrants use to describe their attempt to cross borders while avoiding suffering, rejection, and violence. It is a semantic coincidence too significant not to highlight. A total of 172 jute sacks have been painted to evoke the landscapes of migratory routes: wild forests, seas and war zones. Visitors experience the exhibition in an immersive environment crafted from recycled materials, which evoke the settings represented in the games.

Santa Marta. Qualcosa che merita

Santa Marta. Something Worthwhile

A journey through the Santa Marta neighborhood in Venice, exploring the role of design within the local context and the contemporary society. The project follows the approaches of Social Design, Design for Social Innovation, and Service Design. No longer limited to problem-solving, design here acts as a catalyst for processes of change through project-based action. Students worked collaboratively, intertwining together their research paths, engaging with citizens and local stakeholders to develop their design proposals.

Liberiamoci da

Let’s Break Free From

2020. During the Covid19 lockdown, students responded to the call launched on April 25th by Paolo Rumiz on “Robinsonmagazine. The question was: “What do you want to be free from?” Following an intense and engaging virtual meeting with the writer, students were invited to create an image that expressed their point of view on the role of young people in raising awareness and identifying what we need to be free from in order to restore meaning to our own lives—and to life in general. The result of this process is a living map: 120 illustrated boards combining images and text that powerfully and imaginatively express a whole universe of emotions and aspirations that emerged during the health emergency.

dueminuti: Atlante storico di Emergency

twominutes: Historical Atlas of Emergency

A precise measure of time: on average, every two minutes, one person is treated by Emergency. In designing the exhibition dedicated to Emergency’s work, it was essential to align with the spirit that drives the organization, translating its way of operating into an exhibition format. Essentiality and generosity, efficiency and humanity, hospitality and safety — these core principles shaped the curatorial path, conceived as a space for pause and reflection, where visitors are invited to read, to understand, and even to engage through play. The spatial layout is articulated through a system of vertical elements that evoke the functional rigor of Emergency’s architectural structures. Red poles made of recycled cardboard, anchored in concrete bases, rhythmically define the environment and guide the visitor through the sequence of exhibited materials.
