Tony Cragg – sculptures and drawings
The State Hermitage Museum, St Petersburg, and the Berengo Foundation organized in 2016 the exhibition “Tony Cragg. Sculptures and drawings”, that was designed by the British artist himself, and displayed 55 recent works. One of the most important contemporary artists , Tony Cragg works with different materials, from wood to bronze, from marble to steel and glass.
+fortuna curated the art direction, layout and design of the catalogue of the exhibition, conceived in a stimulating dialogue with the artist. The project was aimed to build a tailor-made object, reflecting the relationship between the artist and the matter. The book is therefore divided into three main sections differentiated by the kind of paper. The layout also features the opening of each chapter with some words by Cragg on the theme concerned.
